We know that having smart well branded apparel for your team is a significant part of enabling great team morale and "branding" your experience. However, what happens when you no longer need those garments - we don't want to add to the growing pile in landfill or for your brand to end up somewhere (or on someone) you don't want it to be. We have partnered with Upparel to provide a solution towards sustainability.

A Certified B Corp, their non-chemical process upcycles textile waste converting what would be deemed end-of-life textile waste into a profitable and sustainable resource.

The downstream benefit is that they are able to replace consumer and commercial products that have traditionally been made from virgin non-sustainable materials, such as polystyrene, fibreglass and cellulose.

…. Waste is not Waste until we Waste it

In April 2023 Upparel initiated a world-first full-line process of collection, recovery and upcycling of uniforms, garments and textiles in Onehunga, Auckland.

The outcome of all this was UPtex - a wholly NZ manufactured rigid panel product we create from 100% NZ textile waste that we recover and process right here in Onehunga, Auckland.

Everything UPtex is also 100% recyclable through us at end of life! Committed to sustainability for textiles.
